Position: Two fully funded PhD positions with stipend
Description: (Early Autism Sweden; www.smasyskon.se/en/start.php ) which investigates the early development of infants at risk for autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). Using a variety of traditional and novel methods, the PhD students will study social and non-social processes in high risk infants and controls. One important aim of the project is to discover biomarkers that can improve risk assessment and subtype stratification that will allow for an individualized approach to treatment.
The research group consists of twenty researchers and doctoral students who investigate motor, cognitive, and social development in infants and pre-schoolers.
