INSAR Membership Year: January 1 - December 31. Since dues and are not prorated, any month you apply for membership, the expiration date will be December 31 of that year. Once your application is approved, reminders to renew will be sent electronically beginning in September, (and until dues have been paid), for the upcoming year. Should membership lapse, you can rejoin INSAR only through Friday, March 31, 2017 to be eligible for reduced/member rates for IMFAR registration. The application fee will apply to rejoin INSAR. Please note: Payments are no longer accepted through PayPal.
Deadline for 2017 membership renewal: Friday, January 6, 2017.
To Renew Your Membership in the Same Category:
Click on myINSAR tab.
From left navigation, click on LOGIN. Note: The default myINSAR login is your primary e-mail address and Last Name (with a Capital first letter of your last name). If you have already changed your password the default has been overridden; if you have forgotten your password, use the “forgot your password” option. If you need assistance, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Click on My Transactions from the left navigation
Click on Renew or Rejoin link
Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the payment process
Please note: you do not need a source code.
If your membership renewal is not found in My Transactions, your membership has lapsed. You must have renewed by Friday, January 6, 2017 in order to be a current member. Please see the steps to re-join here.
Should your living and work location change to a developing country address, you will need to use the payment form to submit those fees; developing country rates are not available online.
To Renew in a Different Category (For example: Student changing to Full; Full changing to Student):
If you have received an electronic invoice for renewal, print that invoice and change the membership type and amount; submit with payment via fax, or mail to INSAR/Membership Dues. You cannot renew your membership online for a different category
